Project 1 : Research projects focus on performance-based seismic design and development of innovative steel braced frame systems for seismic resistance. The objective is to design and test steel braced systems that are inherently optimized to meet multiple performance objectives. Start date is January 2017!

Project 2: Research project aims at developing comprehensive and efficient structural solutions for bridge rehabilitation using aluminium bridge deck technology. The project will particularly address some unique design challenges in the re-decking of existing steel girder bridge topped with concrete decks. Start date is January 2017!
