Dr. Baggag is a tenured professor of high performance computing. He has taught graduate and undergraduate courses at different universities in the States, Canada and France. He holds a Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Minnesota, with a major in high-performance computing applied to engineering. He was a senior HPC analyst at the CLUMEQ Supercomputer Center at McGill University. He has extensive experience in, and has in-depth knowledge of, mathematical and numerical methods applied to engineering and scientific problems.

Dr. Baggag has gained this expertise while working at different leading HPC research centers, namely:

  • the Computing Research Institute (CRI) at Purdue University;

  • NASA Langley Research Center (LaRC);

  • the Army High-Performance Computing Research Center (AHPCRC); and

  • the Minnesota Supercomputer Institute (MSI).
